Whether you’re new to Fabric or have been coming along for a while, we’d love you to join a Fabric Group. Groups are the best place to grow and connect in a smaller community. We meet weekly across the city for socials, sports, bible studies, prayer and courses. Check out what’s happening this term to find a group that works for you.

Courses

Alpha

Tuesdays • 7.30 PM — 9.00 PM

Fabric Church

Alpha is a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. A night at Alpha includes good food, a short video and discussion in small groups Everyone's welcome.

Tackling Anxiety Together

Mondays • 7.30 PM — 9.00 PM
Fabric Church

Mental Health affects us all at some point in our lives, for good or bad. Tackling Anxiety Together gives you a chance to join others with similar experiences, talk through issues and support each other.
This course will begin on Monday 3 February 2025.

The Bereavement Journey

Thursdays • 7.15 PM — 9.30 PM
Online

The Bereavement journey is a place to talk – 7 sessions of films and discussion for anyone, whether grieving a death now or wanting to explore a previous bereavement that may be unresolved. This course is for bereaved adults to do their grief work. It’s supported by a participant manual and facilitated by volunteers.
This course will begin on Thursday 30 January 2025.

*Please note this course is ran by AtaLoss for HTB, and there is a small charge for the sessions.

A relaxed evening of hanging out with some nibbles and drinks, and playing games together every Wednesday evening.

Students

Fabric Church

If you're a Uni student in Manchester, we'd love to welcome you to Fabric Students! We meet weekly on Thursday nights for worship, prayer, socials, pub trips and loads more. Our vision is to see every student in Manchester experience the depths of God’s love, being filled with His spirit and sent out as His disciples.

Toddlers

Thursdays • 10.00 AM — 12.00 PM
Withington

A group for parents and carers of preschool-aged children. A chance to get together midweek, have a coffee, catch up and pray for each other. Tea and cake are provided!

Hiking

Monthly • Saturdays

A monthly hiking group. A day out to enjoy nature, good company and fellowship. The plan is to meet at Fabric Church and drive together to the great outdoors to enjoy a hike. The date of the first hike is Saturday 1st February, with more dates to be announced soon.

Bridge The Gap Football

Bridge The Gap Football is a football community that brings people together from different backgrounds and walks of life, through running 7 aside football, playing our part in bridging the gap between football and church.

Align

A Pilates themed 'exercise' class. We'll explore how we align our body, soul and spirit while inviting the Holy Spirit to move among us! It'll be a space for all shapes, sizes and genders and give people a chance to connect, get a wee bit fitter, and have loads of fun.

Run Club

Whether you are a regular runner, a casual runner, or not a runner at all, start your weekends right by joining us on Saturday mornings for a 10 minute warm-up in the garage, followed by an easy 5k/social run.

XCC (Xtreme Character Challenge)

Scottish Highlands

Spend a weekend away in the Scottish Highlands for XTREME CHARACTER CHALLENGE. XCC is a 4-day adventure in the wild! It is an active and challenging endurance event for men, that tests and builds skills for life. We'll get together for a couple of socials in the lead up.

An opportunity to come together and make yourself at home with tea, coffee or wine. The dream is to create a safe space where we can talk about how incredible God is while becoming closer to God through diving into the Bible!
