Fabric 52 is a year designed to help you grow closer to God.

Whether you feel called to Church ministry long term, or just want to take a year out to grow, we believe that spending 52 weeks being invested in, receiving input in leadership and theology, getting practical ministry experience, blessing the Church with who you are and your gifts and discovering new ones will be deeply transformational for the rest of your life. We want you to be sent out from Fabric 52 knowing more of who God is and more of who he's made you to be.

FAQ'S

1. What does it look like?
Fabric 52 students will spend Sundays and 3 weekdays getting involved in all that's going on at Fabric Church. One afternoon a week will be set aside for input and teaching, you'll have weekly check-ins with your line manager and the rest of the week you'll be getting involved with serving in your ministry area. Growth happens best in community so we'll also be spending time hanging out, praying and worshipping together.

The year will run term-time from September 9th 2024 until the end of July 2025- finishing at Focus (https://focus.htb.org/). We'll let you know more about term dates and key events when you apply.

2. Who can apply?
The age of Fabric 52 applicants is typically 18-25. You don't need any specific previous experience and the application process is meant to be an opportunity for both us and you to figure out if the year is a good fit - there's no pressure to commit until you're sure it's right for you.

3. Which ministry area will I be involved in?
We have several ministry streams available and throughout the application process we'll work with you to find the best fit for you. The options are worship and prayer, production, creative, kids or students. Throughout the year everyone will be involved with Sundays and Alpha.

4. How much does it cost?
The year is free to take part in, but you will need to fundraise or work part-time (outside of Fabric 52) to make sure your living costs are covered.  We love the idea that alongside being involved at Fabric you can get immersed in your community and engage with people outside of the Church.

5. What about accommodation?
Where possible we will help you to make connections with people and support, but accommodation is not provided and you will be responsible for finding somewhere to live throughout the duration of the year.
